Chapter 245: Entering The Calamity World

Although he was no longer continuing to ascend physically, it felt as though he had stepped into a deeper layer of the void itself, a realm that ordinary flight could never possibly reach.

In that instant, he left the area where Blue Star was located.

The pulling force of another world completely enveloped him, carrying him through the boundless space outside that world.

Throughout the entire process, Noah couldn’t see anything clearly.

Only after passing though yet another thin membrane did his vision finally return.

At that moment, he had truly entered another world.

"Was that the World Membrane?"

Recalling the process of his ascension, Noah realized that the thin membranes he had passed through twice were most likely the so-called World Membranes.

"Is this the Remnant World?"

Looking down from the sky, Noah saw green mountains, clear rivers, and an environment overflowing with rich spiritual energy.

His heart stirred slightly as he immediately flew into the distance.

Inside his body, a wisp of pure energy was slowly dissipating.

It was precisely this pure energy that had allowed Noah to "ascend" to this world. However, this wasn’t true ascension in the absolute sense. Once the pure energy completely dissipated, Noah would immediately be expelled and sent back to Blue Star.

After sensing it carefully, Noah determined that the rate of dissipation was extremely slow, slow enough for him to remain in this world for several days.

Of course, if he used the pure energy for high-speed movement, the dissipation rate would increase dramatically.

In his current state, Noah also couldn’t use Thunder Escape, as he needed to maintain the stability of his physical condition.

As Noah continued flying rapidly through the sky, signs of human civilization soon appeared below him.

Looking down at the city, which closely resembled the ancient cities of Starfall Country, Noah finally confirmed one thing.

This was not the Remnant World.

Instead, it was an unfamiliar Extraordinary World.

"So I actually ascended here..."

Noah fell into deep thought.

Two Worlds Travel allowed him to sense other worlds and travel freely between them. The essence of this skill was ascension. It enabled him to enter higher-level worlds.

But was Blue Star itself considered a high-level world?

The Blue Star Civilization was only a First-Level Civilization, and Blue Star had only recently entered the extraordinary era. In truth, the world’s level wasn’t particularly high.

He also realized that Two Worlds Travel allowed him to travel not only to Second-Level Civilizations but also to powerful Extraordinary Worlds.

Naturally, the worlds where Disasters originated were included as well. After all, how could a world capable of breeding Disasters possibly be weak?

There were countless worlds he could potentially travel to, not just the Remnant World alone.

Which meant that a single attempt at ascension would not necessarily bring him directly to the Remnant World.

After understanding this, Noah didn’t hesitate in the slightest.

He immediately began reversing the nature of the pure energy within his body.

Since he could transform his Lightness ability into pure energy, naturally, he could also reverse the process.

This way, he wouldn’t need to wait for the pure energy to completely dissipate on its own.

As the pure energy reverted back into Lightness energy, Noah suddenly felt his body tremble.

A terrifying pulling force instantly enveloped him, dragging him away from that world, through the World Membrane, and back into the outer space surrounding Blue Star.

Outside the worlds themselves, Noah had no idea what truly existed, nor how terrifying it might be.

Without the protection of that massive pulling force, he suspected that he might not even be capable of safely performing Two Worlds Travel.

And that overwhelming force was clearly generated by the skill itself.

"As expected of an Epic-grade skill."

Noah couldn’t help but sigh in admiration.

"Again."

His target was the Remnant World.

Until he found it, he had no intention of stopping.

Once more, Noah transformed his Lightness energy into pure energy.

In an instant, he sensed the existence of other worlds again.

At the same time, he discovered something new. As long as he had no intention of traveling to a world, no pulling force would appear.

This time, the first world he sensed was still the same Extraordinary World as before.

After Noah chose not to enter it, the world quickly faded from his perception and was replaced by another entirely different world.

As the ascension process ended, Noah appeared on a barren planet.

Instantly, a massive pulling force descended upon him.

A moment later, Noah stepped into the new world.

He appeared directly in outer space.
