Chapter 292 Cave

Chapter 292 Cave

Regulus' room still looks the same as it did more than a decade ago, with some passionate slogans and obsessive love for Voldemort posted on the walls.

There were a few books on the table near the window, their covers covered with dust.

"I don't understand why he would choose to join the Dark Lord when he could have died a heroic death."

Sirius found Regulus' diary in the drawer. He flipped through a few pages, which recorded the belief in bloodline and power.

"Perhaps he was deceived by Voldemort's sweet words." Afro carefully searched the room for Regulus' favorite items, "But you have to admit that he protected the entire Black family."

After a moment of silence, Sirius sat on the single bed and said softly, "He is indeed the pride of the Black family, even braver than me."

Avro did not respond to him. Sirius looked at the familiar furnishings in front of him, and his thoughts gradually returned to the past.

That was because his younger brother Regulus was more well-behaved, believed in the theory of pure blood, and was more popular among the tribe members than him.

Especially after he was sorted into Gryffindor and Regulus went to Slytherin.

He was regarded as a traitor at home, and Sirius was happy with it. He began to have conflicts with his family, quarreling constantly, and then stopped going home.

At the end of my memory, there were hardly any memories about my younger brother.

"Found it!" Afro found a treasured card from among several books, as if it was pulled out from a deck of toy cards.

Sirius looked at the familiar cards and felt as if he had returned to the summer of his childhood.

He and Regulus played cards together in the room, and he always secretly hid a few cards and won the game by cheating.

After the last session, one of the cards was nowhere to be found.

Sirius never took it seriously, but Regulus found this card somewhere and kept it as a treasure.

Sirius felt his nose sour and the scenery in front of him became blurry.

"Kreacher!" Afro called softly.

Kreacher appeared in front of them with a snap. Aphrodite and Sirius each held one of its clothes.

Afro felt a black screen before his eyes, as if he was forced to squeeze through a very tight rubber tube.

Every organ in her body was squeezed, and just when she was about to reach the limit of her endurance, the tube suddenly broke.

Afro stood in the cool darkness, breathing in the fresh air.

"I can't understand how Fred and George can stand this, Apparating every day."

Sirius was amused by her scolding look, "You're not used to it yet."

After calming down, the two looked at the environment around them.

It's still daytime, but it's foggy here, as if it's going to rain.

The surging waves rolled under their feet, creating foam, and the clothes on their bodies were rustling in the strong wind.

Behind me was a steep cliff, too dark to see clearly.

"How long do we have?" Sirius looked up at the cliff, but did not see the cave that Kreacher had mentioned.

Kreacher pointed to a rock soaked in seawater. There was a dark crack on the surface of the rock.

After a short rest, Kreacher apparated with them again, and this time they landed right in the cave.

"Luminescent flashes!" Afro chanted a spell as she approached the cave wall, and dots of silver light flickered in front of her.

Sirius felt himself shivering, as if the cold had penetrated his bones.

"We enter from here, the entrance is hidden." Kreacher took a few steps forward, pointing his long nails at the outline of the arch.

The archway revealed a doorway, and inside there seemed to be endless darkness.

Afro stood on the shore of a large black lake. The lake was very wide. She could not see the other side in the distance. A hazy green light flickered in the center of the lake.

Apart from the green light and the light from the two wands, the surroundings were all indissoluble darkness.

"Master, Miss Afro." Kreacher walked two steps forward around the lake shore, turned his head and whispered to them, "Go forward, don't step into the water."

Aphrodite and Sirius' footsteps echoed on the rocks.

After walking for a few hours, Kreacher suddenly stopped, clenched his hands, and slowly moved towards the lake.

Suddenly, a thick copper chain emerged from the bottom of the lake, covered with green copper rust.
