Chapter 163. Heading to Brion City and ambushed

Nox was stunned when he heard that but then his heart felt warm. He looked at Jin and, in his eyes, the love started to overflow.

Jin sensed these emotions and quickly spoke,

"This was done by Aion. He just woke up for a moment and he told me to do this because you are too weak for the future."

Hearing this, whatever Nox was deciding to do was suppressed in his heart and he sighed. He realised that the old fella is observing them every moment and his actions might be too weak right now.

Nox sighed and realised that he is really too weak. Jin sighed in relief when he saw them. He spoke,

"Let’s leave. Now we don’t have to worry about the black mist anymore."

Indeed. The walls are only covered around the outer areas from where the mist appears. The back part of the city is still open for the outsiders to come and go.

By evening Jin and Nox left this place and headed in the direction of Borin City.

On the way, Nox decided to use this moment to comprehend the life-death flower and gain insights. So, he went to the spiritual palace.

The spiritual palace is more like a domain now.

Nox sighed and without wasting any more time, he directly entered in a meditative position and observed the life force and other parts of the strange flower.

Jin continued to move in the direction of Borin City. He was going in a slow direction to look at the various surroundings of Virelia.

On the way, he didn’t notice that he was followed by someone. When Jin arrived at a scheduled valley, he paused.

Because in front of him, many lord realm experts were present. They all were wearing masks and not only that, he couldn’t even sense an aura from them. It must be the function of the mask.

He became cautious. Because if they would have been bandits then there must be a leader among them and these guys have the same strength.

The masked men didn’t speak and they all attacked directly.

In the spiritual palace, Nox woke up immediately and asked,

"Should I come?"

Jin communicated,

"There is no need. As long as they are not some sort of monster like us, in the lord realm not many can defeat me.

I think someone is ambushing me and you. It means that our information is leaked.

The humans are colluding with the strange creatures and since we can erase them from existence, the strange creatures want to erase us."

Nox became silent when he heard that but then he asked,

"Who could it be?"

Jin also becomes silent but after some thought, his narrowed his eyes and spoke,

"Who has access to everything in Virelia?"

Nox spoke after some time,

"Jade Chamber House"

Indeed. The Jade Chamber House is the only one who can leak information to those who need it.

Just then an attack came in his way.

With their cultivation, it didn’t even take the time to blink but now the attack arrived. Jin calmly dodged the attack and stepped back to keep distance from others.

There were more than nine lord realm experts and all of them were in the high lord realm.

He looked at them and didn’t speak anything because from their appearance it is clear that they are here to either kill him or capture him.

He didn’t even blink when the nine continued to attack. But how could Jin remain silent? His palms turned black and he attacked at the nearby lord realm with his full strike.

The one near to the attack felt a fatal threat and he activated his sigil mark. Hen in saw something that shocked him.

The sigil mark was containing both the vitality and the death but they were not in harmony but they created an eerie aura around the mark.

Jin felt disgusted and he spoke,

"You are the humans who accepted the strange aura erosion."

Everyone flinched for a moment before a dense killing intent emerged from them. They all activated their sigil marks and indeed all of them had the same.

Jin became serious and he knew that this fight must be taken seriously now. He closed his hands and six black spheres. This time he didn’t use more.

From the black space, six black snakes appeared with blue eyes and they each lashed at one lord realm respectively.

Jin became slightly pale because these six almost took seventy percent of his spiritual energy. He looked at the nine lord realm experts and spoke,

"Since I am going to silence you, I need to use my full strength."

With that, he distanced himself from them and six lord realm experts were restrained by the six snakes. Jin closed his eyes and searched for that harmony.

The nodes started to appear around him and they all pulsed. Jin opened his eyes once again and he sighed. Because he failed this time.

Just then Nox spoke,

"Do you want me to kiss you?"

Jin became speechless when he heard that. But he ignored me and his eyes turned blue.

A sigil mark of a river-like silver curtain appeared on his forehead and with the activation of soul mark, Jin’s aura became even more superior.

His soul cultivation was already on the verge of breaking. But he always felt that something was stopping him. He didn’t think much about it and he attacked the three lord realm experts that were coming in his direction.

His blue eyes shone and the sigil mark on his forehead flared slightly. With that, many time nodes started to appear around Jin.

The other three were also stunned but then Jin waved his hands and all the time nodes appeared in his palm. He gathered one palm and attacked them.

Just like Aion, Jin used the same application on the palms and he slapped at the coming three lord realm experts.

The three lord realm experts felt as if time had stopped and when it continued, the palm was already in front of them.

Their expression changed when they saw this but in reality, the time nodes in the palm were directly established with the laws and they all became fast.

In simple words the palm attack speed passed the timeline and appeared in front of the three, not the time that slowed down.

They activated their sigil marks and dense mist appeared from them but they were at disadvantage despite that. The mist became weak in the vitality from the surroundings and they all suffered backlash.

The palm slap landed on the three with no proper defence. The nodes around them cracked and even the first layer of the space was on the verge of opening.

After the aftermath settled, there was still some lingering affect on the surroundings. The palm attack slowly disappeared and there appeared three figures laid on the ground.

Their aura was strange and unlike the previous one where there was vitality and the strange mist aura was present; this time they were trembling because of the sudden imbalance between the two.

Jin looked at them and understanding appeared in his eyes. He spoke,

"So, you guys have become so useless. In the day, you can’t use the vitality and, in the night, you can’t use the strange mist power. What a fascinating experiment was done on you guys."

Just then his expression changed because in front of him were the other five who were entangled by the snakes.

The last lord realm was the weakest among all the nine and he was still not able to free himself from the snake attacks.

The five lord realm experts didn’t directly attack him. They merely looked at Jin and then their gaze shifted to the three lord realm experts fallen on the ground.

They all made same hand seals and spoke in a serious tone,

"Sacrifice Sigil Blast."

With that, Jin’s expression finally changed because he saw that the sigil mark on the three seriously injured lord realm experts burned and it appeared in front of them.

A strange black and blue aura appeared from the sigil mark and this aura descended on the three lord realm experts. The three lord realm experts shrieked highly and their bodies burst.

After their bodies busted, the blood mist and the strange black mist inside the blood mist started to attract towards the sigil marks and they were absorbed by the sigil marks.

The aura around the sigil marls became strong and the three sigil marks were coming in his direction.

Jin’s expression changed drastically and he moved backwards because using these massive attacks consumed a lot of his spiritual energy and he didn’t have the strength to deal with the marks.

But the sigil mark didn’t come in his direction completely, they surrounded him from the three sides and they seemed to possess some kind of intelligence.

They suddenly glowed and then boom.

They all self-destructed.

Jin was stunned but before he could react, a black shadow appeared in front of him and immediately hugged him.
