Warhammer 30: The Second Legion's Expedition

All humanity trusted and rallied under the Emperor's banner, their ambitions rekindled in the stars. In M30.824, the Emperor, in the Storm Sector, the Realm of Ilios, and the Kingdom of Troy, found the Second Primarch of the Imperium: Hector. The technologically inept Second Primarch found the most technologically savvy, Peturabo. The Second Primarch, who cherished the well-being of mortals, conversed amiably with the Lord of the Dragons. The Second Primarch, searching for a postwar home for his offspring, also conversed amiably with Guilliman, who shared the same ambition. However, there were a few things Hector couldn't understand. During his time conversing so amicably with Guilliman, the friendly atmosphere between him and his brothers suddenly turned sour. His brother got along very well with Forgrim. Conrad often couldn't help but laugh wildly upon seeing him, yet this fellow loved to gravitate towards him, demanding to travel with his fleet. And then there was that noble angel, almost like a damned god, a perfect being, yet utterly inept at controlling his offspring. But all in all, things are moving in a positive direction. The old night will eventually end, and humanity will usher in its brightest future! ...But—the kingdom will ultimately perish.
