Chapter 170: Severus Takes Him Back to Hogwarts Castle

“What are you looking at? You want to stay?” I glanced at the Aragogs and stuffed their children’s bodies into the portable backpack.

“We’re leaving now.” The Aragogs gave me a deep look and then left.

I stood there waiting for someone, knowing that with the noise I made, someone would definitely come looking for me.

Severus, who was searching for me in Hogwarts Castle, quickly discovered my situation.

He pulled up his robes and ran quickly towards the outside of Hogwarts Castle, heading towards the source of the explosion in the Forbidden Forest. Several other professors had also noticed the sound coming from deep within the Forbidden Forest and were about to run over to investigate when Headmaster Dumbledore stopped them.

“I think Professor Severus Snape can handle this. Let’s all wait here and not let the other young wizards run around.” Headmaster Dumbledore smiled as he looked at the professors.

Fred and the others, who were standing by the window of the Gryffindor common room, also saw Professor Snape run out.

As the prefect, Percy couldn't leave and could only watch as his brother and friend Oliver summoned the Nimbus 2000 I had given them and flew away.

"You must all come back safely." Percy was no longer satisfied with his current position as prefect; it was a responsibility, but also a position that limited and constrained him.

"Ayers!" Severus, who was worried about me, finally found me, but he could sense that I was in a very bad state.

“Severus.” I turned around and smiled as Severus approached.

"Really?" I stopped smiling, wrapped my arms around Severus's waist, rested my head on his chest, and took deep breaths of the herbal scent on him. It really did have a calming effect on me.

"Yes, I was worried about you." Severus couldn't see my expression in his arms, but he could feel that the pain in his heart seemed to have lessened a bit.

"For some reason, I think I overslept and missed school, so I just skipped class." I didn't really want to tell Severus about Draco's rejection. Although they were both potential love interests, I already felt bad for not being their only one, so I didn't want to talk about other potential love interests in front of one of them.

"I'm glad you're alright." Severus didn't care about anything else; he was only concerned about whether I was in danger.

"The giant spiders in the Forbidden Forest have become quite rampant. Don't you and Headmaster Dumbledore know about this?" I put the giant spider's corpse back in.

"I usually look for herbs that I can refine on the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest. I don't usually venture into the depths of the Forbidden Forest because I feel there are too many dangers." If I hadn't appeared deep in the Forbidden Forest this time, Severus wouldn't have come in.

"I'm so sorry to have worried you." I took Severus's hand and placed it against my face, feeling his warmth.

"Let's go back together." Severus could feel that the sadness in his heart had disappeared; it seemed that Ayers was alright now.

I walked back to Hogwarts Castle with Severus, smiling, but this time the smile wasn't forced.

On our way back, we happened to run into the Geminis and Oliver flying by on flying broomsticks.

"If I remember correctly, you're not allowed to ride flying brooms except in Quidditch, right?" Severus put on his poker face again, looking seriously at Fred and the other two.

“Professor Snape, we were just worried about Ayers, please let us go.” Fred stood behind me with a grin.

"Professor Snape, just this once, please let me go." George grinned and hid the flying broom behind his back.

“Professor Snape, we did it in desperation.” Oliver also hoped that Severus would let them go.

"Severus, they're all doing this because of me, so please don't make things difficult for them." They only came on flying broomsticks because they wanted to find me, and I don't want them to lose points.

"I didn't say I was going to deduct points, what's the rush?" Severus flicked his robe and walked away.

"Let's go, I'm fine. Let's go back to Hogwarts Castle first." My current state reassured the three of them, and they also felt that the uncomfortable feeling in their hearts had disappeared, and they knew that I was in a pretty good mood.

"Ayers, are you alright?" Fred whispered in my ear, holding his broom.

"It's nothing, I'm sorry to have worried you," I whispered to him.

“We were all terrified when we found out you were missing,” George chimed in my conversation with Fred.

"Yes, there was a slight accident at the time, but it's been dealt with now." I knew that this sudden disappearance had worried them all, and I needed to reassure each of them properly.

Oliver stood by and watched us talk and chat, while Severus slowed down, waiting for us to catch up and go back to Hogwarts Castle together.

When we returned to Hogwarts Castle, a group of professors and several of my usual companions were already waiting for us.
