The light collided violently with the dark aura of destruction and hunger surging from the depths of the throne!
Silent annihilation is taking place! Space is utterly torn apart, only to be forcibly mended by the High Priest's divine power! The entire core area has become the ultimate battlefield of pure light and darkness, creation and destruction!
At the gap in the broken chain, new, thicker, platinum-glowing energy chains are struggling, inch by inch, stubbornly coalescing and extending in the clash between divine light and darkness, attempting to re-entwine the restless dark gold throne!
The high priest hovered in the center of the storm of light and darkness, his pure white figure like a pillar of strength. His handsome face appeared extremely solemn under the divine light, and a bead of sweat even appeared on his forehead—a sight unimaginable in his almost eternal life!
The battle has only just begun! Lin Ye, looking at the black crack in his palm, temporarily suppressed by the High Priest's divine power but not yet gone, and feeling the subtle connection between the spacetime energy within his body and the lingering, cold thirst deep within that crack, knew that his own battle was equally imminent! The threat of Dark Wukong was far from over, and this sealed "Primordial Remains," and the invisible force behind it, were the true doomsday blade hanging over the entire multiverse!
Chapter 233: The Forgotten Creator
The Time Patrol tears through the void, revealing a shocking secret: history has been massively altered!
Bulma's instruments screamed as they locked onto Lin Ye—the surging power within him was of the same origin as the erased "Omni-King of Chaos"!
Fragments of bloody memories exploded in Beerus's mind: stars shattered, gods fell, and a figure entwined with chaos indifferently surveyed the battlefield.
"What a joke!" Beerus's eyes widened in fury, his nails digging deep into his palms. "That bastard... is he still alive?!"
The cold, deathly white core of the Omni-King's Palace resembled a morgue in the universe. The vast, white torrent of divine power emanating from the High Priest clashed violently with the destructive, hungry energy surging from the depths of the dark gold throne. Each silent annihilation caused space to groan as if on the verge of collapse. The azure sealing chains struggled to reform and coil at the massive breach, a fierce tug-of-war between platinum radiance and corrosive darkness. Each tremor of the taut chains tightened, gripping the nerves of everyone present.
Bulma clutched her terminal, which was flashing a blinding red light, huddled at the edge of the rainbow-colored light screen that Whis was desperately trying to maintain, her teeth chattering uncontrollably: "No... the pressure is still skyrocketing! The sealing structure itself is undergoing unknown distortions! At this rate, even the High Priest won't be able to hold on for much longer!"
Vegeta leaned against the inner wall of the light barrier, each spatial tremor sending turmoil through his body. He fiercely wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his golden aura as weak as a candle flickering in the wind, yet his eyes remained fiercely fixed on the dark golden behemoth bound by chains: "Damn it... just how much does this thing want to absorb?!"
Lin Ye knelt on one knee, his right hand clenched tightly. The black crack in his palm, temporarily suppressed by the High Priest's divine power, throbbed restlessly beneath his skin, each throbbing bringing a bone-chilling cold and a subtle pull, like an invisible thread connecting him to the endless thirst deep within the throne. He raised his head, his gaze piercing through the chaotic storm of light and darkness, landing on the High Priest's pure white back, suspended in the torrent of destruction. The back remained upright, like a pillar of strength, but Lin Ye keenly detected an unusual solemnity—proof that even an almost eternal being felt the strain.
at this time!
Swish——!!!
It didn't come from the collapsing core of the seal, but from the void behind them, as if it had been violently torn apart by an invisible giant claw!
A long, narrow spatial rift, its edges crackling with unstable blue-purple arcs of electricity, was forcibly torn open outside Weiss's protective light barrier! From within the rift, violent spatial turbulence surged forth like a flood bursting its banks, instantly impacting the seven-colored light barrier and producing a teeth-grinding friction sound!
"What is that?!" Weiss's expression changed, and the gem at the top of his scepter shone brightly as he worked hard to stabilize the crumbling light barrier.
Deep within the rift, a strangely shaped shuttle-like spaceship, seemingly forcibly pieced together from flowing mercury and sharply defined black metal, struggled to emerge amidst the raging turbulence! The spaceship's surface was covered with charred burn marks and deep, claw-like dents, and its tail thrusters spewed intermittent, pale flames, clearly indicating that it had endured an unimaginably brutal voyage.
“Time-space...patrol?!” Bulma exclaimed. A dangerous skull icon, representing an illegal time-space intrusion, instantly appeared on her terminal, but the identification code next to it flashed with a ghostly green light, indicating the highest level of authority.
The spaceship hatch sprang open with a screeching metallic scraping sound, and three figures, accompanied by a strong smell of gunpowder and blood, stumbled and fell onto the cold, pure white ground.
Leading the group was a tall woman in a tattered blue combat suit with a long purple ponytail. A fresh bloodstain marked her face, but her eyes were sharp as an eagle's – it was Amy. Behind her followed the burly man Tova and the boy Kai, both equally disheveled. Tova's mechanical arm was emitting black smoke, while Kai was clutching a cracked, rhomboid crystal that was constantly overflowing with blue data.
"Amy?!" Gohan recognized the newcomers, utterly astonished. "How did you get here? The space here..."
Amy had no time to explain. Her gaze immediately locked onto the dark gold throne, bound by countless eerie blue chains and radiating destructive energy. Her pupils contracted sharply, her face drained of color, and her voice became hoarse with extreme shock and exhaustion: "The seal... the core... is indeed here! The historical anchor... has been altered! It has been massively and forcibly overwritten!"
"What tampering? Explain yourself!" Vegeta roared angrily, he was most annoyed by this kind of vague talk.
Tova, clutching the smoking interface of the robotic arm, breathed heavily, his voice carrying a metallic quality: "We traced... the source of the 'Chaos Erosion'... the signal ultimately pointed to the Royal Palace... but the spacetime archive... the core recording layer... was violently erased and overwritten!" He pointed to the rhombus-shaped crystal in Kai's arms, "This is... the last piece of the deep log that was salvaged... containing... something that shouldn't exist!"
Kai's face was deathly pale, but his hands held the flickering crystal steadily. He looked at Lin Ye, then at the dark gold throne in horror, his voice trembling: "It's 'Chaos'! The records... mention... the third one! Before the two Omni-Kings... there was one! Code name... 'Chaos Omni-King'! His... His power characteristics... are recorded in this fragment! But in all official history... in all pantheon lineages... this name cannot be found! It's as if... it was completely erased!"
"The third Omni-King? The Chaos Omni-King?" Bulma repeated in a shrill voice, her fingers flying across the terminal, forcibly accessing the data stream overflowing from the diamond-shaped crystal. Countless garbled characters and fragmented images cascaded across the screen like a waterfall, and finally, a set of energy waveforms, highlighted in red and bold, and constantly flashing, was forcibly analyzed, magnified, and projected into mid-air!
The waveform was distorted and violent, filled with an ominous sense of devouring all order, like countless wildly writhing black venomous snakes.
“Impossible…” Bulma muttered to herself, as if she had seen a ghost. She suddenly looked up, her scarlet pupils instantly turning to Lin Ye, her finger trembling as she pointed at him—or rather, at his tightly clenched right hand, which concealed black cracks!
"Lin Ye! The spacetime energy that just erupted from your body! That fluctuation attracted by the seal... the core frequency! And the waveform recorded by this 'Chaos Omni-King'... the match is 99.8%!" Bulma's voice rose to a shrill level due to the extreme absurdity, "Data doesn't lie! The source of your power... and that 'Chaos Omni-King' whose name was erased... are from the same source!"
Boom!
It was as if a silent thunderclap had exploded in everyone's minds!
Lin Ye shuddered violently, abruptly looking down at his right hand. The chilling throbbing emanating from the crack in his palm now seemed imbued with a new, chilling meaning! A shared origin? That sealed, destruction-craving "Primordial Remains"? That "Chaos Omni-King" erased from history?!
"What...what kind of cosmic joke is this!" For the first time, a blank look of bewilderment appeared in Vegeta's golden eyes.
“Uncle Lin Ye…” Son Gohan looked at Lin Ye with disbelief and a hint of instinctive fear in his eyes.
The information brought by the Time Patrol was like a spark thrown into boiling oil, instantly igniting the already tense atmosphere. Bulma's sharp accusation—"Same origin!"—was like a cold dagger, stabbing deeply into Lin Ye's heart, and also into everyone's understanding.
Lin Ye felt a chill rush from his tailbone straight to the top of his head, and the suppressed crack in his palm suddenly burned, as if responding to this absurd accusation.
He looked up, his azure pupils contracting sharply, his voice distorted by the immense shock: "Same origin? Bulma, are you sure?!"
"The waveform comparison is right here! 99.8%! The error is almost negligible!" Bulma pointed at the wildly twisting black waveform in mid-air and the superimposed energy frequency diagram that Lin Ye had recorded earlier, her fingertips trembling. "The core frequency that your system is emitting is exactly the same as the mark left by this 'Chaos Omni-King'! What... what is going on? What the hell is your 'system'?!"
Amy, clutching her bleeding arm, her face ashen, added, "The 'chaotic erosion' phenomenon we're investigating... points to the entire royal palace... a erased 'supreme chaotic coordinate' keeps appearing in the deep logs... Mr. Lin Ye, your very existence... is very likely the 'key' to that coordinate!"
Or rather… it's that sealed 'chaos'… a lighthouse used to find the path back!
A lighthouse? A key? Pointing to the sealed source of destruction?
Lin Ye's mind was in complete chaos. An unprecedented sense of crisis and a suffocating feeling of being shrouded in an invisible net gripped his throat. The system within him… the "golden finger" that had accompanied him through countless journeys, granted him power, and guided him to this day… its roots were actually linked to this terrifying being erased from history?!
"Absurd! Utterly absurd!" Vegeta's golden aura surged for a moment, then instantly weakened due to his injuries and immense pressure. He stared intently at Lin Ye, his eyes filled with rage, suspicion, and an indescribable apprehension. "How could this guy possibly be the 'key' to that thing? If he were the key, we would have been finished long ago!"
"This is not the time for argument!" Weiss's voice was sterner than ever before. The light of his scepter fluctuated violently under the onslaught of energy and the tearing of spacetime rifts, and the seven-colored light curtain groaned under its strain. "The High Priest is doing everything he can to maintain the seal! Any interference could..."
His words were interrupted by a painful and furious roar!
“Ughh ...!!!”
Beerus, who had been standing silently at the edge with his crimson beast eyes fixed on the energy waveform of the "Omni-King of Chaos" brought by the Time Patrol, suddenly clutched his head tightly with both hands! His body hunched over, and a beast-like growl of pain escaped his throat. The purple-black destructive power around him went berserk and dissipated uncontrollably, corroding the pure white ground beneath his feet into sizzling pits!
"Lord Beerus?!" Whis turned around in astonishment.
“That wave…that feeling…” Beerus jerked his head up, his bloodshot pupils filled with overwhelming rage and a…deep-seated, soul-crushing fear! His handsome, sinister face was contorted with extreme pain and fury. “I remember! Damn it…it’s it! It’s that bastard!!!”
Fragments! Countless blood-stained fragments of memories, like a volcano sealed for millions of years, erupted from the depths of his soul!
No longer a vague sensation, but a breathtakingly clear image, accompanied by the roar of destruction and the wailing of fallen gods, forcefully broke through some ancient restriction and poured into his mind!
Scene 1: An endless battlefield in the starry sky. No longer is it a vast cosmic backdrop, but a shattered one! Colossal stellar debris, like rotten, gnawed fruit, floats in a viscous void, emanating an ominous dark purple mist. In the background, countless colossal figures of various shapes, radiating divine radiance, are entangled, corroded, and disintegrated by the dark purple mist! Golden divine blood cascades like waterfalls, freezing into cold crystals, only to be crushed into dust by an invisible force. Deathly silence, absolute deathly silence; even the mournful cries of fallen gods are greedily swallowed by the mist.
Scene Two: A figure. Perched atop all the shattered stars and fallen divine corpses. Its form wasn't particularly enormous, yet it seemed to be the condensation of the entire dark side of the broken universe. It had no clear outline; its body was composed of constantly surging, mutually devouring chaotic shadows, sometimes coalescing into human form, sometimes transforming into a gigantic maw devouring stars, and sometimes dissipating into a thirsty void enveloping the star field. At its "head," two crimson lights shone—not eyes, but two wildly spinning miniature black holes, consuming all light! Cold, empty, regarding all things as dust. Its mere existence caused the laws of that region to scream, twist, and crumble!
Scene Three: A tiny purple figure. Young Beerus! He was covered in blood, his robes, symbols of the God of Destruction's dignity, were tattered, and one arm was twisted unnaturally. He knelt on a massive fragment of a star, burning with the purple flames of the God of Destruction, his head tilted back, unleashing a frenzied, hysterical roar at the chaotic figure! The roar was filled with the ultimate rage of a God of Destruction, but deeper still, it contained a despairing tremor, a fear he himself refused to acknowledge, of being like an ant before an absolutely superior being! He gathered his last strength, unleashing a terrifying energy blast capable of instantly evaporating a galaxy towards the chaotic figure! However, as the energy blast approached its target, it vanished without a trace, like a mud ox sinking into the sea, silently disintegrating and devouring the chaotic shadow as if it had never existed.
Scene Four: The Final Gaze. The chaotic figure seemed to "look" at him. Not a gaze, but a cold "lock" originating from the very source of existence. Beerus felt everything about him—his power, his soul, the meaning of his being—was analyzed, weighed, and judged under that "gaze" as... utterly worthless. Then, a deeper, more greedy chaotic shadow, like the stomach of the universe, silently enveloped him and the wreckage beneath his feet. Absolute silence and coldness—an end more thorough than destruction—erasure.
"Uhhh-!!!"
Beerus let out a groan of inhuman pain, jolting himself out of the mire of memories. His body swayed violently, almost losing his balance. Cold sweat soaked his purple fur, sliding down his contorted face. He gasped for breath, his crimson beastly eyes trembling violently, churning with a newly awakened rage capable of incinerating reason, and beneath that rage lay an ancient, ingrained shadow of fear.
He raised his head, no longer looking at the energy waveform, but instead fixated on the dark gold throne, which was bound by countless dark blue chains and was frantically trying to break the seal, with a hatred that seemed to want to devour it alive! It was as if through that mottled and ancient throne, he could once again see the chaotic figure that devoured the gods of stars!
“It’s Him…it’s that thing that should be completely forgotten… ‘Chaos’!” Beerus’s voice was hoarse, like sandpaper scraping, every word soaked in hatred fueled by blood and fire. “His power…his nauseating aura…I’ll never forget it!” He abruptly turned to Lin Ye, his gaze like a poisoned arrow, his raging destructive power overflowing uncontrollably, scorching and distorting the surrounding space. “And you! Kid! That ‘scent’ on you…it’s from the same source as Him! Though diluted countless times, the essence is the same! Nauseating Chaos!”
He pointed sharply at the sealed throne, his nails digging deep into his palms, purple blood seeping from between his fingers and dripping onto the pure white ground with a sizzling, corrosive sound. The sound was utterly distorted and roared by extreme rage and a kind of cruelty born of being fooled:
"What 'primordial remains' nonsense! What's locked inside... isn't some remnant of the past at all!"
"It's Him! It's that 'Chaos Omni-King' who deserves to be torn to pieces!"
"He wasn't really dead! He was torn to pieces! He was suppressed! But his 'existence'... his core 'chaotic essence'... has always been locked here! Sealed like a disgusting corpse!"
"He is struggling! He wants to come back! He wants to devour the other two imps (the Omni-King) and become once again the one, supreme, all-powerful monster who controls all chaos!"
“And you brat…” Beerus’s bloodshot beast eyes were fixed on Lin Ye, filled with a furious and scrutinizing rage that wanted to burn him to ashes, “You are the one who, through some unknown means, produced… the key! Or… bait?!”
"What kind of bullshit joke is this?!"
Chapter 234: The Trap of the Mirror Universe
The spaceship shuddered violently, and a piercing alarm tore through the silence. The familiar starlight outside the window vanished, replaced by a chaotic, distorted, and colorful void.
"The energy signal has disappeared! We've been sucked in!" Gohan stared intently at the malfunctioning scanner, his voice tense. He futilely tried to manipulate the control stick.
"This is... the Mirror Universe?" Trunks gasped, clinging to the porthole. Twisted bands of light writhed like living creatures, and the stars were blurred and distorted.
"Something feels off, my Qi is chaotic... and I'm slowing down?" Sun Wukong frowned, his perception was blocked.
“It’s not just a feeling,” Bulma’s voice came through the communicator, unusually heavy, “The time flow meter shows that the external time flow rate… is only one percent of that in our universe!”
"One percent?" Vegeta's eyes narrowed. "A day outside is only a few minutes here? No wonder the signal was delayed and then disappeared."
The difference in the rate of time travel creates immense pressure. External crises may stall, but if trapped in this situation, the world outside will have already undergone tremendous changes.
The spaceship crash-landed on a "land" composed of twisted metal and luminous crystals, stirring up colorful particles of dust. The hatch opened, and thick air mixed with ozone and the rust of strange metal rushed out.
"Be careful, something's wrong with the energy." Sun Wukong stepped forward first, his golden flames dimming slightly in the eerie air.
“Something’s more than just wrong,” Bick said, looking around at the twisted ruins of the building. “This place is filled with the remnants of malice and chaotic energy.”
Suddenly! A beam of scarlet energy shot out from behind the giant amethyst without warning, heading straight for Sun Wukong!
Sun Wukong instantly dodged to the side, the energy beam grazing past him and tearing scorch marks on the spaceship's hull.
"Who?!" Vegeta shouted, unleashing a burst of deep blue energy.
Several figures slowly emerged from behind the crystal. Upon recognizing the leader, everyone's pupils constricted!
The man looked exactly like Lin Ye, yet his aura was completely different. He wore dark red, horned armor, his eyes were cold and empty, a cruel, mechanical smile played on his lips, and he exuded an aura of destruction. The menacing lightsaber in his hand spewed crimson energy and was pointed at the crowd.
"Lin...Lin Ye?" Son Gohan asked incredulously.
“Mirror universe, mirror individual.” Bick’s voice was low and wary. “Looks like an evil version.”
Behind the evil Lin Ye followed several people: Frieza, with grayish-green skin and trembling, cowardly eyes; Buu, with a bloated figure, gorgeous clothes stained with oil, and greedy, crazed eyes; and Cell, with a sinister face, a tight-fitting combat suit, and a cruel smile on his lips.
"Heh heh..." Evil Lin Ye let out a laugh that sounded like gears grinding together. "Intruder... high energy reaction... purge program... activated." The lightsaber shone brightly red.
“Wait!” Good Frieza cried out, trembling. “They…are from outside! Maybe…they can help us!” His eyes were filled with humble pleading.
"Shut up, you trash!" Evil Buu roared, shaking the earth as he greedily licked his lips. "Fresh energy...eat them!"
"Hmph, trash, perfect for testing my new form." Evil Cell licked his sharp nails, his bloodlust palpable.
The atmosphere instantly became tense! Sun Wukong and his companions immediately assumed battle stances, their powerful auras contrasting sharply with the chaotic and evil forces on the other side.
The evil Lin Ye vanished like a ghost, and when he reappeared, the scarlet light sword had already torn through space and was slashing towards Sun Wukong's head!
Sun Wukong's eyes narrowed, instantly turning super blue! He crossed his arms to meet the attack head-on!
boom!
The golden and red energies collided violently, and the shockwave cleared away the dust and crystals! The ground cracked, and Sun Wukong was even forced back a step!
"Such power!" Sun Wukong shook his numb arm, his fighting spirit burning even brighter. "But when it comes to strength, I won't lose!"
