Chapter 129 The Spark and Her Judgment
Chapter 129 The Spark and Her Judgment
Before being sent away, the Well of Sparks gave birth to one last batch of new sparks. In a beam of light flowing upwards from the bottom of the well, they passed through layers of ancient structures and landed on the surrounding metal walls.
They fell from the light of the spark source, were caught by the escort system, and then carefully transferred into the stabilization capsule by the waiting medical aircraft.
Those new lives have no names yet, nor any allies.
The ambulance was standing next to the stabilization unit, its face grim as if it wanted to dismantle and rebuild the entire world.
"Don't cramm the stabilizer compartments together. This is a new spark, not discarded parts."
The medical equipment next to them immediately moved away.
Master Titan stood further away, silently watching the new sparks being sent away, with Optimus Prime beside him.
The number is less than in the past, and the birth rate is also slower than in the past.
The Spark is still burning, giving Cybertron new life, but it is already showing signs of wear and tear.
Master Titanium said in a low voice, "This is the last batch."
Optimus Prime silently closed his optical glasses.
Beside the well of the spark, new stabilization chambers were shut down one by one, and the escort team led them to a deeper protective passage.
These new lives will first be placed in the safest neutral medical areas and college systems.
The ambulance driver looked down at the medical terminal, his tone impatient, irritable, and sorrowful: "They didn't even have time to know where they were born."
No one spoke; the answer was too harsh.
-
The plan to transfer the Spark Source has been officially launched, and the area surrounding Ironforge and the Well of the Spark Source has entered the highest level of combat readiness.
The battlefield projection covers three layers.
The first layer is the outer defense line of the Well of the Spark.
The second layer consists of the launch channel and the space calibration window.
The third layer is the decoy zone—Tigo Parks—used to contain the main Decepticon forces.
That city was prominent and important, which led the Decepticons to mistakenly believe that the Autobots were conducting some kind of critical operation there.
In other words, it is suitable as bait.
Optimus Prime looked at the projection and operated the control panel with his fingers.
Tong Tianxiao stood to the side, his voice flat.
"Once the battle begins at Titan Parks, the Decepticons will consider it the primary control point. If Megatron goes there personally, the success rate of the AllSpark launch window will increase."
Police car supplement:
"The sound wave monitoring has reconstructed part of the eastern orbital chain. We can't completely hide the AllSpark's relocation; we can only create more noise."
The ambulance driver said coldly, "If anyone comes back seriously injured, I'll fix them up and then beat them to a pulp."
Everyone quietly moved a little further away from the grumpy-faced doctor.
Arcee stood near the door, having received her mission: to input the launch code into the Well of the AllSpark.
If the Decepticons break through the defenses, the first target will be the launch control console.
Alita's elite guard is responsible for the outer defense line of the Well of Sparks.
Jazz and Sideswipe were transferred to mobile support, Skyward coordinated the evacuation and blockade, and Ambulance led a medical team to guard the New Fire's stable passage.
Optimus Prime and Alpha Titan remained at the core of the AllSpark.
Bumblebee and Cliffjumper were sent to Tagore Parks.
When Bumblebee heard the command, its optical lens lit up briefly.
Flyover stood beside him and glanced at him: "Oh God, don't look so excited."
Bumblebee immediately replied, "No, I just think the mission is very important."
"It's important," Cliffjumper said, "but it sounds like you're going to chat with Megatron's main unit."
Bumblebee paused for a moment: "Then I'll try to talk for as long as possible."
Flying Over the Mountain looked at him: "Your words make me even more worried."
Bumblebee raised his hand and patted his chest armor: "Trust me, I'm good at stalling for time."
An ambulance drove by, overheard this, and scoffed, "Those who talk like that usually end up being towed back."
Bumblebee: "..."
Flying over the mountain: "Did you hear that?"
Bumblebee muttered to himself, "I know, I'll come back anyway."
Flying Over the Mountain almost wanted to drag him back to his pre-battle safety class.
Optimus Prime walked up to them, and Bumblebee immediately stood up straight.
He was younger than many of the machines that had been worn into silence by the war; his brightness and sharpness had not been completely swallowed up, like the last few ordinary lights in the college corridor that had not yet been replaced by wartime lights.
Optimus Prime looked at him: "Your mission is not to defeat Megatron."
"I know."
Optimus Prime lowered his voice slightly: "Just buy some time."
Bumblebee nodded: "I'll hold them off."
Flying Over the Mountain nodded: "We will."
-
The first explosion of Tagopax occurred in the seventh cycle after the Well of the AllSpark entered launch preparation.
The bumblebee and the overhanging mountain made a huge commotion.
Transport signals, spoofed dispatches, fake encrypted channels, deliberately exposed coordinate fragments, and an escort route that looks like it has been temporarily rewritten.
All of this seems to point to the same conclusion: the Autobots have important plans for Tagore Parks, which Megatron's personal presence is worth.
The Decepticons took the bait, the trackers arrived first, followed by the ground assault force.
Finally, Megatron appeared on the abandoned plaza outside Tagore Parks.
Bumblebee stood on high ground and saw the silver-gray silhouette emerge from the smoke and dust, his entire machine tensing up.
Over-the-Mountain said on the channel, "Don't get too excited, and don't talk nonsense!"
Bumblebee whispered, "That's a tactic."
Flyover sighed.
Immediately afterwards, Bumblebee opened the public channel: "Megatron!"
His voice echoed throughout the entire outer channel of the Tagopax.
"Do you Decepticons always make such a big entrance? Or do you only need to use artillery fire to bolster your courage when you can't find a real target?"
Flying over the mountain closed its optical glasses briefly: "Oh, please!"
Megatron raised his head. In the distance, the Decepticon forces also fell silent for a moment.
Bumblebee continued, "This place is quite big, you can take your time looking. You might even find the strategic judgment you lost last time!"
Flying Over the Mountain gritted his teeth and muttered, "You've got a death wish!"
Bumblebee leaped down from the height, its yellow body gliding along the edge of the ruins, then turned and fired, interrupting the advance of one Decepticon: "Get out of here!"
Flying over the mountain, the two Autobots weaved back and forth between the abandoned plaza and the old transport tracks, leading the Decepticon vanguard to the designated area.
-
Inside the Well of the Spark, Arcee stood in front of the launch control console.
When the first set of code is entered, a blue-white light ring illuminates the console.
When the second set of codes was input, the ancient structure beneath the Well of the Spark began to rotate, and a heavy mechanical sound came from the depths of the earth.
The third set of code input opens the space calibration window.
The police car announced over the channel: "Launch trajectory calibration in progress, outer defenses ready."
Alita then chimed in: "There are Decepticon assault teams trying to penetrate the west entrance, but we can hold them off."
Her tone was calm, but it concealed a anger and weariness that she didn't want others to hear.
Jazz's voice came from the other end: "Mobile support is in place. Sidewinder, don't cross the line."
Sidewinder: "I haven't done anything yet!"
The ambulance was barely holding back its anger on the medical channel:
"The last batch of new spark stabilization capsules are entering the protection corridor. Anyone who dares to bring the war to this path will be forced to eat energy blocks on wheels from now on!"
At this point, no one wanted to know how to achieve this.
Arcee's hand movements were swift and efficient.
The fourth set of code.
The fifth group of codes.
She didn't want to look up. If she did, she would see the light from the spark source being guided little by little towards the emission structure.
-
The battle at TegoParks continues to escalate.
Bumblebee and Overlord retreated to the second pre-set point.
The first preset point was blasted apart by Megatron's fusion cannon.
The second one won't last long either.
Flying over the mountain and over a section of abandoned track, he looked back and saw Bumblebee had once again rushed too far ahead. He immediately shouted, "Bumblebee, come back!"
"immediately!"
As Bumblebee said this, he did the opposite.
He slid close to the chassis of a Decepticon armored vehicle, then slammed the jammer onto its base. The Decepticon machine froze, then was blasted back by a cannon shot from the Flying Mountain.
"See that?" Bumblebee shouted. "Great teamwork!"
He flew over the mountain and rushed to his side, shoving him behind cover: "If you keep doing this, I'll hand you over to the ambulance for a lesson!"
The bumblebee fell silent for half a second.
Megatron is approaching.
The flames blasted open the bunkers in front of the two aircraft, and the shockwave sent Bumblebee flying, crashing into a section of broken wall.
After flying over the mountain, it immediately turned around and rushed over, but was stopped by the roadblock leader.
"Bumblebee!"
Bumblebee crawled out of the debris and responded on the frequency: "I'm fine!"
Megatron walked up to him: "The Autobots' bait."
Bumblebee looked up at him: "You found it a little faster than I expected."
Megatron's gaze was cold: "What are you covering up?"
Bumblebee propped himself up against the broken wall and said, "I don't know. Maybe you'll have to learn how to use the brain module first."
Megatron slammed down with a punch.
Bumblebee was knocked to the ground, its chest armor and shoulder armor making a screeching sound at the same time.
Flyover broke free of the suppression not far away and tried to rush over, but was forced back by more Decepticons.
Megatron looked down at Bumblebee: "Where is Optimus Prime?"
Bumblebee did not answer.
"Where is the source of this spark?"
The bumblebee still did not respond.
Megatron bent down, grabbed his jaw armor, and lifted him off the ground.
You like to talk a lot.
Bumblebee's microphone vibrated intermittently as it managed to squeeze out, "I...I thought you liked listening to that."
Megatron tightened his grip, and Bumblebee's speaker immediately emitted a series of unstable, crackling noises.
"Then I'll make sure you can't say it again."
Flying over the mountain, he called his name from afar, and Bumblebee's optics flashed.
He knew he should keep quiet; any normal person would have done the same in this situation.
However, Arcee needs time at the Well of the AllSpark, and Optimus Prime and Alpha Titan also need time.
He then chuckled, but his voice trailed off.
"Do...do you know?"
Megatron stared at him coldly.
Bumblebee stared at him and said with difficulty, word by word:
"She taught us..."
Megatron paused for a moment.
Bumblebee stubbornly continued:
"The law is not something to decorate the facade of the powerful."
Megatron's optical mirror darkened, and his shark teeth clenched together.
Bumblebee's voice was intermittent, the microphone squeezed down to just a faint buzzing sound.
"You are like this now."
"She saw it."
"You'll only be disappointed."
In Megatron's world, the smoke and dust from Tagore Parks seemed to pause for a moment, and all the battlefield noise was erased by that one sentence.
Pointing vector.
Bumblebee, a young Autobot who emerged from the academy she founded, used his nearly shattered speech generator to throw back the words she left behind at Megatron.
Megatron heard it, just like a long time ago, when she stood beside him and called his name softly.
She has been asleep for far too long.
He captured cities, rewrote the battle lines, and personally crushed one old name after another into the war.
But she remained in the same place, imprinted on the D-16 nameplate in his unforgettable old name, and blended into the half-beat when he suddenly slowed down every time he was about to cross the last line.
She was always there, just like before, knowing exactly where to stop him.
Megatron's anger did not subside; on the contrary, it grew even stronger and colder. It was forcibly restrained by a name that could not be touched, and so the anger burned back inward.
Why?
He wanted to ask her that.
You're clearly not here anymore, so why won't you leave me?!
He slammed the bumblebee to the ground.
The entire Bumblebee crashed into the shattered metal, its microphone emitting a piercing, intermittent sound.
Megatron stepped on his breastplate and leaned closer.
"You have no right to use her to judge me!!"
The bumblebee's optical lens flickered in pain, yet it still managed to squeeze out sounds intermittently.
"Then...why did you...stop?"
Megatron's fist landed, but ultimately avoided the most vulnerable spot on his microphone.
Bumblebee's voice abruptly turned into a series of broken noises, barely managing to be repaired.
Megatron stood up: "Take him away."
The Decepticon soldiers made a move to step forward, when suddenly a series of explosions erupted in the distance.
Flying over the mountain, it burst out from the side, recklessly crashing into the two Decepticons blocking its way, and dragging Bumblebee along the pre-designated escape route.
"Are you crazy?" came a few muffled noises from Bumblebee's speaker.
As he flew over the mountain, firing and shouting, "That's the question I should be asking you!"
The Decepticons caught up with firepower.
But at the same time, at the Well of the Spark, the final code input was completed.
-
Arcee pressed the confirmation button, the launch trajectory was ready, and the light from the Well of the Spark shone brightly for a moment.
The entire underground space was illuminated to the point of being almost transparent.
The AllSpark rose from the well, was held aloft by an ancient orbital structure, and then transformed into a beam of light that pierced the Cybertronian sky, drifting away beyond the planet.
On Cybertron, all the machines looked up as the meteor, a symbol of life and the future, disappeared into the distance.
The smoke of battle ceased the instant it fell, and all the machines knew that from now on, Cybertron would never see new life again.
-
Bumblebee was towed back to the Autobots' makeshift medical station by a flying vehicle, and the ambulance nearly overturned the entire medical station when it saw it.
"I knew it!" he gritted his teeth. "You two will be carried back sooner or later!"
Flying over the mountain, covered in scratches, he gripped Bumblebee tightly: "Let's see him first!"
Bumblebee raised his hand, trying to speak, but the voice came out haltingly, like an old radio: "I...I've...I've managed to hold them off, haven't I?"
Flying over the mountain looked at him, both angry and amused: "Please shut up!"
Before Bumblebee could say anything, the ambulance grabbed his shoulder armor, holding a wrench and a saw.
"Shut up!"
Seeing this, the bumblebee remained silent.
The ambulance driver bent down to check his voice transmitter, his face ashen as if he'd seen Megatron dancing the Tarantella in front of him.
Flying over the mountain asked anxiously, "How is it?"
The ambulance driver was silent for a few seconds: "It's not completely destroyed; it can be repaired."
Overmountain visibly relaxed, and Bumblebee's optical scope flashed as if to express its protest.
The ambulance driver coldly looked at him: "Don't make a sound."
Flyover finally managed a brief, weary laugh: "Where's the AllSpark?"
The ambulance stopped briefly, then said, "They've taken him out."
The medical room fell completely silent.
-
In the third cycle after the AllSpark was launched, Optimus Prime, Prowl, and Ultra Magnus reconfirmed the residual data of the launch trajectory.
The AllSpark has long since left Cybertron's orbit. No machine can immediately know where it will go.
Although the safety factor is reliable, it also means that they have personally sent the future into the unknown.
The police car looked at the star map and said softly:
"If the AllSpark leaves Cybertron, we will eventually need a ship that can catch up with it."
Master Titan looked at Optimus Prime: "Not now, but we must begin preparations."
On the star map, that trajectory was so faint that it was almost invisible.
Optimus Prime looked at it for a long time, and finally said, "Record this as the Far Voyager-class evacuation and repatriation plan."
Hopefully, they will be sent out of Cybertron.
The war remains in place.
/Quick fact: Bumblebee's vocal cords were severely damaged in this battle and could not be repaired. From now on, it can only use "beep," "du," and "buzz" to communicate.
