Chapter 308: Continuing the Unboxing! Flip Phone! Letter Sweater!

Dudley quietly sorted out the gifts from the professors, carefully categorizing and storing the books, notes, and magical materials.

This was the Quidditch match that Harry won on behalf of Gryffindor against Slytherin.

Unlike the Quidditch equipment used in training sessions at each school, the match balls used in the Quidditch School Cup are brand new, like the Golden Snitch, and belong to the winning Seeker after the match.

This item is proof of Harry's victory and is very meaningful. Giving it to Dudley shows how important Dudley is to Harry.

Dudley's gift to Harry, however, was something of far greater significance.

It was an exquisite pendant resembling a pocket watch, with a circular ornament in the center that could be opened like a flip-top pocket watch. However, instead of a pocket watch face, it revealed a magical photograph embedded in the ornament.

The image in this photo is not only moving, but it also emits light and projects three-dimensional images, making it a magical item with a strong science fiction feel.

As for the content of the photo... this magical photo was not taken with a magical camera, and it is not even a scene that actually existed.

Rather, it is a copy of a false, illusory memory of Dudley.

Ron and Hermione found the Mirror of Erised in that abandoned classroom and told Dudley. Dudley immediately went to find the Mirror of Erised and tried it out.

In the illusion reflected in the Mirror of Eris, Dudley not only saw himself transformed into an omnipotent super-god of magic, but also saw himself and his cousin's family reunited and smiling.

The false illusion depicted included not only Dudley and Harry, but also the Dursleys and the Potters.

Everyone was laughing happily.

This scene is unlikely to actually happen in reality.

Because Lily and James haven't been resurrected yet, because the emotional entanglement between Lily and Petunia hasn't been resolved, and because James carries the arrogance of a wizard and can't get along with Vernon, there have been conflicts and contradictions in the past, and they will need to be mediated in the future.

Dali longed for this scene because of his wish for his and his cousin's family to be reunited.

The feelings and grudges of the previous generation were not taken into account.

But regardless, this magical photograph, copied from a false illusionary memory, is incredibly beautiful and something Harry has longed to see for a long time.

It is estimated that Harry's parents will be resurrected by Dudley in about six months, and this photo allows Harry to imagine his happy future life ahead of time.

Dudley put away the Golden Snitch without looking back. He simply turned his pupils to the inside of his eye sockets, using his X-ray vision to see through his own head. He glanced at Harry, who was still fast asleep and hadn't woken up yet, and smiled knowingly.

Next came Ron's gift: a box of Lemon Olaf Magic Candies and a letter sweater sewn by Mrs. Weasley.

The sweater is red, with a large letter 'D' sewn on the front in white yarn.

This is standard equipment for the Weasley kids, and obviously, Dudley and Harry, two unofficial members, have also received this honor this year.

The gift Dudley gave to Ron was a pre-ordained transformation charm – the Rat Form – created by the Energy Drain Charm absorbing Peter Pettigrew's Animagus power.

Peter Pettigrew was the Weasley family's pet for ten years in his rat form, and was even raised by Ron for a long time. Even though Ron didn't like him and traded his rat life for twenty Galleons with Dudley, there must have been some affection between them... right?

Dudley glanced at Ron, who was also fast asleep, hoping that Ron would like the gift when he opened it later.
