Chapter 121 First Generation Cells
Chapter 121 First Generation Cells
"Knock knock knock..."
The courtyard gate opened, and a woman with a somewhat pale face opened it. Seeing the people before her, she exclaimed in surprise, "The Uchiha clan? What brings you here?"
After the woman finished speaking, she became somewhat alarmed and looked at the two men warily.
"Are you Tianma's mother?" Uchiha Ye asked, looking at the person in front of him.
"Has something happened to my son? Or what have you done to him?!" The woman suddenly became agitated.
"Auntie, please don't be agitated. Your son is fine. We were entrusted by Tianma to deliver some medicinal herbs," Uchiha Ye quickly explained, then handed over a wooden box containing a beard.
"You..." The woman took the box and glanced at it, her eyes filled with disbelief. By the time she came to her senses, the two people outside the door had already gone far away.
"What... what's going on? How does Tenma know someone from the Uchiha clan?"
She never expected that the box contained the medicine her husband needed to cure his illness, which had been slow to heal. She never imagined that someone would deliver it to her doorstep.
Since her husband fell ill, the family has undergone tremendous changes, and even the entire clan is in jeopardy.
"Now that we have this herb, everything will be alright."
"Everything will be alright..."
The woman wiped away her tears, carefully packed away her belongings, and watched the two figures disappear into the distance. She murmured, "She will remember this kindness, and she will definitely repay it if she has the chance."
"Ye, how did you know about this?" Itachi asked curiously.
"Well... I overheard it by chance, and it was just something I could do, so I helped out." Uchiha Ye quickly came up with an excuse.
"I'm home. See you tomorrow, Itachi."
After Ye closed the door and disappeared from sight, Itachi turned around and went back home. "Mother, I'm back."
Upon hearing the voice, Mikoto Uchiha spoke up, "Itachi, you're back. Perfect timing for dinner."
"Understood, Mother." Itachi replied and walked to the dining table to sit down.
“Father…” he called out to the middle-aged man opposite him.
"Hmm." Fugaku Uchiha responded casually, glancing at the newspaper. After a pause, he asked, "How did today's mission go?"
Itachi thought for a moment and then said, "It went quite smoothly."
"What have you thought about that matter..." Before Fugaku could finish speaking, Mikoto brought over the last dish. "Honey, let's talk about it after dinner."
"Itachi must be tired after a day of missions."
"I don't know what's wrong with Sasuke lately, he's been coming home very late every day."
When Sasuke was mentioned, Itachi recalled the suggestion Yoru had given him, asking him to use genjutsu to awaken his brother's Sharingan, such as creating a night of massacre. How could he bear to do that? Yoru was also from the Uchiha clan; he simply couldn't create such a thing.
He suspected that Ye might know something, but it was indeed a good idea. However, Sasuke was still young, so he could wait another year or two.
He had considered using it on his clansmen, but the Uchiha clan being too sharp wasn't a good thing. "Let's take it slow!"
Itachi regained his composure and looked at his mother, saying, "Mother, Sasuke has made a friend, and I think it's related to this."
"I see, then I'm relieved." Mikoto knew her youngest son's personality well, and she was quite pleased that Sasuke could make friends at such a young age.
"Alright, let's eat first, otherwise it won't taste good if it gets cold."
"I've already saved Sasuke's portion," Mikoto said, addressing the father and son.
Fugaku Uchiha put down the newspaper, picked up the cutlery in front of him, and began to eat a piece of fish.
Halfway through the meal, Mikoto couldn't help but ask, "Itachi, how are things going between you and Yoh?"
Fugaku's gaze followed these words to Itachi; he was quite curious as well.
He was very keen for that girl to be with his eldest son.
Uchiha Ye's talent was beyond his expectations. Before even awakening her Sharingan, her strength had already reached that of a Jonin. She was incredibly skilled in Fire Release techniques, possessed medical ninjutsu, and was also quite proficient in taijutsu. Even Itachi paled in comparison to her.
"I wonder how much my strength will increase once I open my eyes! I can't wait to find out!"
Upon hearing his mother's words, Itachi's ears instantly turned red, and after a long while, he stammered, "It's fine."
"It's great, how so?" Mikoto asked repeatedly upon hearing this.
Upon hearing this, Itachi looked even more embarrassed.
"Okay...okay...I won't tease you anymore."
"But invite Ye over for meals more often, she must be lonely by herself." Uchiha Mikoto's playful demeanor instantly switched to that of a virtuous wife and loving mother as she gave this advice.
Mikoto adored Uchiha Ha. Every time she came over, she brought a relaxed and happy atmosphere to their somewhat dull home. Even her usually stern husband would unconsciously break into a smile.
Hearing his mother's instructions, Itachi nodded. "I will, Mother."
Back home, Uchiha Hato took a shower, packed some things, and used the Flying Thunder God Technique to go straight to the laboratory.
"Oh, Orochimaru-sensei, what brings you here today?"
Upon arriving at the laboratory, she exclaimed in surprise the moment she landed and saw a familiar figure.
"Your 'Flying Thunder God Technique' seems to be even faster than before." Orochimaru's eyes revealed a hint of admiration.
"It's alright. The 'Reanimation Jutsu' developed by the teacher has also made some progress." Uchiha Ye said modestly, not forgetting to praise Orochimaru.
"Oh?"
"What are your thoughts on the 'Reanimation Jutsu'?" Orochimaru wasn't surprised that this student knew about the forbidden technique he had developed.
"Well..."
"If it were me, I would suggest that the teacher use clones as containers, and use the human body as a container. With each reincarnation, the mental strength will become weaker and weaker, and the resistance to illusions will become lower and lower."
"After the process of reincarnation begins, one must find a new vessel to house the soul every so often, or one will die."
"The use time of a new body is very limited, so it is better to cultivate a clone that is suitable for oneself."
Orochimaru became increasingly alarmed as he listened. How could someone know more about the forbidden technique than he did, when he himself had developed it?
"Orochimaru-sensei, these are just my personal opinions. The decision is up to you." Uchiha Ye explained the drawbacks of the 'Reanimation Jutsu' and then turned to examine the object in his hand.
Her words did indeed give Orochimaru a lot of inspiration; he had never even considered cultivating clones before.
Whenever he encounters an ability that interests him, he wants to possess it so that he can conduct human experiments to achieve his goal. But clones are different; they can indeed be made into the most suitable container for him.
"Ye, what's the best thing to use for cultivating clones?" Orochimaru asked directly, having found a new target.
"Teacher, you should still have the cells of the First Hokage there, right?" Uchiha Ye said casually without even looking up.
"The First Hokage!" Orochimaru murmured, his eyes gleaming.
Uchiha Ye actually wanted to suggest capturing White Zetsu, but the timeline was still too early, so it was best not to reveal too much too soon.
"I'm leaving now." Orochimaru received the reply and was eager to begin his research.
Just as he was about to leave the laboratory, Uchiha Ye hurriedly spoke up, "Teacher, could you give me a sample of the First Hokage's cells?"
“Sure.” Orochimaru agreed without hesitation. “He was also very curious to see what this disciple would create using the First Hokage’s cells.”
