Chapter 151 Mrs. Prince
Chapter 151 Mrs. Prince
"Severus, come and try these. They taste pretty good. See if there's anything you particularly like. I'll make them for you later." Emeric picked out a few that tasted pretty good and handed them over.
"After the exams, I'll try to recreate these flavors; they taste really good."
"Your gift." Severus handed him a box of chocolates tied with a bow, along with a bunch of potions. Of course, the most important thing was the contract, which signified that from this day forward, Emerick would be Mrs. Prince.
"Thanks, Severus, I'll open it right away!" Emeric was very excited, his hands moving very gently, without tearing the wrapping paper at all, because this was something he wanted to collect.
"What's this? Severus, are you burned?" Emeric put down what he was holding and looked at Severus's hand with a worried expression. Over the years, he had kept his hands very soft, and it would really hurt if they were injured.
"Enough with the chit-chat. See for yourself if you're not hurt," Severus said, flipping his fingers over to show Emeric. "Alright, tell me if it tastes good."
"Let me try it," Emeric picked up a piece of chocolate and put it in his mouth. The rich cocoa flavor exploded in his mouth. "Delicious! Not sweet at all, so fragrant! Better than what I make!"
Severus was pleased with those two short sentences; the emotional value Emeric had given him was exceptionally high, and he nodded slightly in agreement with the praise.
"A transfer of ownership? Transferring half of the shares to Severus Snape's partner..." Emeric's eyes widened in disbelief. "Severus, this is!!!" He gripped the parchment tightly, as if afraid someone would snatch it from him.
"What? You don't want to?"
"No!"
"Then what are you waiting for if you won't sign? Don't you want to be Mrs. Prince?"
"No! I'm looking for the prettiest pen." Emeric's hand trembled as he signed his name. The thing he had been looking forward to for so many years was finally about to become a reality, making him feel like he was walking on clouds, with a sense of unreality.
"The transfer of ownership cannot be completed in the short term. Everyone knows how many spies the Dark Lord has in the Ministry of Magic," Severus explained. Since he had made up his mind, he would definitely do it. He just wanted to say one more thing so that Emeric might overthink things.
"It's okay, it's okay," Emeric wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes. "It's okay if we don't transfer the property. So... are we partners now? Can I kiss you?"
"Ha, now you're playing innocent? Why don't you ask me for permission every morning when you're clinging to me and wanting a kiss?" Severus rolled his eyes, his disgust practically overflowing. He didn't know why Emeric was asking this now; there weren't so many questions when they wanted a kiss before.
He figured the little fool was so happy he didn't even understand what he meant, so he simply reached out and hooked his arm around Emeric's neck, pressing his face close to his own. "I'll teach you the rest... um..."
Before Severus could finish speaking, Emeric's mind started working again. He quickly wrapped his arms around the man's waist and placed one hand on the back of his neck to prevent him from escaping later.
After kissing for a while, Severus felt his lips go numb and quickly patted Emeric's arm to make him let go. The little rascal pretended not to notice and kissed him even harder. He pushed Emeric into a chair, forcing him to tilt his head back and expose his snow-white neck.
"Hmm... um..."
Severus felt like he was suffocating. He reached out and grabbed a chunk of flesh on Emeric's waist, twisting it hard. Emeric, who had been lost in the act of plunder, was instantly jolted awake by the pain and quickly released the now-angry man. A strand of saliva broke between their lips. Severus wiped the saliva from his lips and glared fiercely at Emeric.
"hey-hey..."
"Tsk, if you keep acting like this, get out."
Severus felt like he was about to roll his eyes to the limit, so he pushed the person away, his face full of disgust. He didn't know what he had seen in the first place, and now he was being so stupid.
"Have you finished reviewing for your final exams? If you don't do well, go back to the lounge and sleep by yourself next semester."
"No problem at all, so where are we going this summer vacation, a small island or another country?"
"What are you thinking? I haven't been able to go out for the past few years. What if the Dark Lord calls me over for summer vacation?"
"Ugh, when is he going to die already? So annoying."
"Alright, where's your birthday cake?"
Emeric took out an ice cream cake and placed it on the table. It's been so hot lately, it's not excessive to eat ice cream.

"Severus, are you even listening to me?" Lucius questioned his friend, clearly sensing that Severus was distracted, but he held back for Draco's safety.
"Didn't I tell you? Draco is fine." Severus thought for a moment and added, "He's my godson, I can't possibly not protect him. Emeric is with him too. You might not trust me, but you can trust Emeric, right?"
"Why did you suddenly bring him up?" Lucius sensed something was amiss. Logically, Severus wouldn't suddenly mention an unrelated person. "Aren't you two partners? When did he ever do anything for you?"
"The Dark Lord sent me to Emeric in exchange for 20% of the revenue. Now we're practically bound together. What's wrong with asking him to do some work?" Severus had already come up with an excuse to fob off Lucius. His handsome mind was particularly easy to fool.
"real?"
"Otherwise, why would I look for him if I wasn't involved? It's just that your family is too poor, and the Dark Lord even wants to sell me for money."
"Severus, who are you calling poor?"
Lucius was furious; this was the first time someone had ever said the Malfoy family was poor.
"Alright, let's not talk about this anymore. You and Narcissa should take care of yourselves. The great battle should be coming soon." Severus revealed some information to Lucius, not wanting to lose even one more of his already few friends.
"I understand. Be careful too. Being a spy isn't easy." Lucius didn't ask Severus where he got the information; he could roughly guess. He could only tell him to protect himself.
"I'm sending Draco to Germany this summer. He'll be safe with Grindelwald, don't worry."
"Wait? Grindelwald? Safety?" Lucius's elegance vanished completely. He withdrew his previous concern and began to wonder if Severus had gone mad from the pressure. "Are you serious?"
"Anywhere is safer than here. With Dumbledore around, Grindelwald won't do anything to Draco."
"Why is Dumbledore being dragged into this again?" Lucius was at his wit's end. Finally, he gave up thinking. "Fine, as long as he's safe, don't tell me anything else I shouldn't know."
