As soon as they heard that Easton Holmes was treating them, Athena Linton and William Turner, who were arguing in the back, immediately stopped. William scooted forward, "Isn’t my brother-in-law broke? How’s he treating us?"

He glanced at his sister, then at his brother-in-law who was driving, unsure which of the two was telling the truth.

"You two just wait to eat to your hearts’ content. Your brother-in-law will figure out the money part himself," Lily Turner patted her younger brother’s head and smiled, "You just sit back down, no one’s going to make you stay behind to wash dishes at the restaurant."

She realized her brother really was a straightforward, naïve young man.

Athena leaned over to join the fun, making the other three in the car burst into laughter, "William! Don’t worry, if anyone’s staying to wash dishes, it won’t be you. Today, my brother’s treating, so if anyone’s staying, it’ll be him."

The thought of her brother washing dishes made her envision quite the spectacle.

"Pfft! Athena! That’s a great idea, why didn’t I think of it?" Lily couldn’t hold back her laughter; such a joke was bold. If any restaurant dared make her husband wash dishes, she’d definitely post a video of it on her social media.

William tilted his head, looking at Easton Holmes, then turned his gaze to Athena, "Do you really think the restaurant owner would dare make my brother-in-law wash dishes?"

The name Easton Holmes stood for something in Flame City, everyone knew it without needing to say.

"As long as my brother doesn’t reveal who he is, do you think the owner would dare keep him to wash dishes?" Athena knew her brother’s prowess in Flame City but also knew he kept a low profile, very few people knew he was the renowned Easton Holmes.

Lily shared Athena’s thoughts. If Easton Holmes didn’t reveal his identity, no one would know his true self. He always presented himself as Adrian Linton, at first she even thought he was just her Easton.

"Athena! You’re quite imaginative, and bold too. I wouldn’t dare think like that." It wasn’t that she didn’t dare, she simply hadn’t thought of it.

"Why wouldn’t you dare think it? Are you afraid of my brother?" Athena didn’t know Lily’s real thoughts and assumed she was afraid of Easton Holmes, blurting out her question.

Lily glanced at the man driving, then nodded toward Athena, "Yeah! Your brother is quite something, I can’t help but be afraid."

While speaking, she sneaked a look at the man driving. His expression had changed a bit, so she quickly looked back at the two sitting behind.

"Is my brother impressive? I don’t think he’s that impressive." Athena took Lily’s serious tone to heart, actually believing she was truly afraid of Easton.

Lily pouted in grievance, "You’re his sister, of course, he wouldn’t be tough on you. But it’s a different story with me..."

Easton suddenly turned his head to look at her, making her stop abruptly, and she took the chance to make a scared face.

"Brother! That’s outrageous, I thought you adored goddess sister, but you actually treat her like this? I despise you!" Athena noticed Lily’s odd behavior and followed her gaze, catching sight of Easton’s cold stare. With no hint of a smile on his face, she became more convinced of Lily’s words.
