The pirates sat and forgot, and they really believed the nine truths and one lie.

Chapter 1707 Temporary Rest

Chapter 1707 Temporary Rest

When the Founding Titan erupted from its entire body, releasing scorching steam that blotted out the sky, those at a distance could only see its massive skeleton begin to fall and disintegrate.

Because the steam completely obscured the view, no one knew what was happening above.

After Luffy unleashed that Kamehameha wave, using up all his energy, he almost completely depleted his internal energy.

The intense white color on his body faded rapidly, and he gradually pushed the limit of the boundless vitality and power granted to him by the Nika form.

“Ace…”

After being physically exhausted, my mental state was also extremely poor.

Luffy felt a sudden darkness before his eyes, and he couldn't even maintain his flying technique. He slowly fell from the sky, and before he closed his eyes, he was still unconsciously murmuring his brother's name.

This great hero was about to fall into the scorching steam that the Founding Titan unleashed, a steam so hot it could melt steel.

"Hey, straw hat!"

Kidd was the first to notice Luffy's unusual behavior.

He looked at the figure, which was limp and falling straight down, and clicked his tongue. "Tsk, I thought you hadn't reached your limit yet? If you had persisted a little longer, you wouldn't even be a monster."

Despite this, he acted without hesitation, flipping his wrist and causing the massive electromagnetic cannon, originally intended for attack, to gradually disintegrate.

Under his magnetic manipulation, they were kneaded and reassembled, transforming into countless exquisite metal rings that flew rapidly towards the direction Luffy had fallen, like a swarm of living bees.

Just as Luffy was about to be scalded by the billowing steam, whoosh! whoosh! whoosh!

Those iron rings precisely handcuffed Luffy's wrists and ankles, and with the power of the Magnet-Magnet Fruit, Kid remotely pulled Luffy back from that deadly steam sea!

"call--"

Luffy's body passed through the steam and flew back up, where he was pulled to Kid's side.

At this moment, his skin was scalded red by the steam, his whole body was covered in sweat from exhaustion, and he had temporarily lost consciousness with his eyes closed.

"He's reached his limit. I reckon the first thing he'll do when he wakes up is have a huge meal."

“Let’s go down there together,” he said to his two companions.

Hawkins transformed from his giant scarecrow form back into an adult, his face still pale, but his eyes relatively calm. Capone Becky, on the other hand, remained seated on his steel frisbee, his disproportionately large hand rubbing his massive head.

They both nodded in unison.

Beneath their feet, the path of white bones paved with the spine of the progenitor giant was now showing obvious cracks, and terrifying cracking sounds were incessant, indicating that it was about to give way.

The ancient giants of the Great Hammer Warband were also emitting billowing steam, their figures gradually becoming transparent, and finally turning into countless specks of light that drifted away with the wind.

They were about to return to Ymir's embrace, and the earth-shattering battle near the Sabaody Archipelago was finally over.

In his final moments, Yoruru, the oldest of the giant warriors, turned his massive, weathered head and looked at the group of young humans.

He saw Kid pull Luffy back from the steam, and a barely perceptible look of relief seemed to appear on his face, which was marked by the passage of time.

He slowly closed his eyes, as if fulfilling a wish he had kept. "Don't come to see me too soon, Aruru..."

Before he could finish speaking, the skin and flesh on Yoruru's face rapidly weathered away, turning into the last wisp of steam, and then his entire skeleton evaporated quickly.

Finally, this giant elder vanished completely from the world, as if he had never existed.

Kidd looked at the spine beneath his feet, and a chilling cracking sound began to emerge. Through the cracks, he could see the deep, turbulent ocean below.

"It's no good to stay here any longer. Allen should have a way to escape on his own. Let's go!"

He once again used his abilities to create an even more robust metal platform for himself and Hawkins.

Kidd took the initiative and, without hesitation, leaped off the back of the Founding Titan, which was on the verge of complete collapse.

They crashed down towards the Sabaody Archipelago, where only the relatively well-preserved area could provide enough food for Luffy, the glutton, to recover.

Not long after everyone jumped down, a deafening roar came from behind them.

The Founding Titan has completed its final disintegration.

The remaining massive skeletons, as large as mountains, fell into the sea, creating terrifying waves on the shore.

"I hope Eren is alright," Hawkins said. He hadn't seen the Founding Titan's massive head fall; for now, everyone could only worry about themselves.

Under the cover of the giant wave, Kidd, the magnetic man, manipulated the metal platform to lift the others and slowly descend, gliding through the water curtain and entering the Sabaody Archipelago area.

In just about five minutes, Kidd and the others landed safely.

Luffy was still fast asleep, but his stomach was already rumbling loudly, and he desperately needed to replenish his energy.

"Meat...meat..."

Even while unconscious, the hungry Luffy's sense of smell kicked in. His nose twitched a few times, and he smelled the aroma of roasted meat faster than anyone else.

Before he even opened his eyes, drool was already uncontrollably dripping from the corners of his mouth.

"Pfft..." Kidd was amused by Luffy's pathetic appearance.

The magnificent scene of unleashing a Kamehameha that shook the heavens and earth is hard to reconcile with the young man in front of me, who is still drooling and shouting for meat while unconscious.

However, following Luffy's sense of smell, they actually found a tavern that was still open at the corner of a relatively intact street.

The signboard at the entrance swayed gently in the breeze, and the faint sounds of people talking could be heard from inside.

The group exchanged glances, and Kidd, carrying Luffy, pushed open the tavern door.

"jingle--"

The wind chimes on the door made a crisp sound.

The once noisy and chattering environment suddenly became deathly quiet.

Inside the tavern, all the servants and guests were frozen in place, as if under a spell.

Their gazes were all fixed on the faces of the disheveled but still defiant young men at the door.

Aren't these the young pirates who just stood on the back of that towering ancestral giant, displaying their prowess and even repelling the Celestial Dragon God?

They came down so quickly, and straight to the tavern—are they here to celebrate their victory?!

For a moment, the tavern was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, with only the increasingly loud rumbling coming from Luffy's stomach.

And his unconscious, food-craving moans: "Meat, meat..."

Kidd, carrying Luffy in one hand, ignored the other cities and counties, found an empty seat, and called to the bartender who was standing there in a daze at the front desk, "Bring up all the best meats, as many as you can get."

These four young pirates, exhausted and starving after a night of fighting, decided to put aside the concerns of others and focus on having a good meal.
