Chapter 295 Family Tapestry

Chapter 295 Family Tapestry

Harry walked into the room and saw a dark green tapestry covering the entire wall. The tapestry looked very old and the color had faded a lot.

The others followed Harry and they could clearly see the family tree outlined with gold thread, like a large tree with lush branches and leaves.

Harry looked at the bottom row of the family tree and saw that Sirius' name was not there.

Next to the name Regulus was a small, charred round hole.

"I haven't seen this stuff in years, and I'm so sick of my parents—"

Sirius didn't look back. He smiled bitterly and combed his messy hair with his hands. "They are crazy about pure blood and think that people born in Black are noble..."

"My foolish brother was weak-willed and believed what they said. I was constantly reminded that Regulus was stronger than I was."

Harry stared at the date of Regulus' death and said, "But he..."

"Yeah," Sirius whispered, "Silly idiot, he joined the Death Eaters and my parents thought he was a brave little hero."

He paused and continued: "He is indeed a hero, but he is also an idiot."

Harry noticed that there were several familiar names on the tapestry, and Sirius and Draco were actually relatives!

He couldn't help but sigh that the magical world was really small.

Sirius stayed in this room from then on, and even Harry helped him bring his meals.

During this period, Snape came several times, and each time he had a stern face and looked at Aphrodite in a bad mood.

Fred and George used their telescopic ears to eavesdrop several times, but heard nothing.

So, I started to look at the vixen hiding behind the curtains and did some experiments on them.

After Avro came back, he wrote a letter to Dumbledore hoping to borrow the sword of Gryffindor, but was rejected by Dumbledore.

The reason is: The Sword of Gryffindor will only appear next to a true Gryffindor warrior.

The implication is that he can't get it either.

Afro had to settle for the next best thing and borrowed the fang of the poisonous snake that he had found in the secret room in the second grade.

Dumbledore said that Snape had used all of these to make medicine, and asked her to talk to Snape.

"Professor Snape, what I want is a complete fang. What are you doing..."

Afro looked at Snape expressionlessly as he handed her a packet of ground fang powder, and thought to herself: He wouldn't turn all the snakes into ashes, would he?

Snape crossed his arms, looking resentful of being called to work overtime even during the holidays.

"You're too late. It's all worn out."

"Not a single one left?"

“Not a single one left.”

Afro raised his voice in shock, "Zhong Kui is not as efficient as you in catching ghosts!"

Snape calmly wrapped the powder and put it into his robes. "Everything I got was ground into powder..."

He stretched out the last syllable and slowly took out another cloth bag.

"But Headmaster Dumbledore still has one."

Afro glared at him plaintively, "Professor, don't go through these procedures anymore."

She took the package and sent Snape back without hesitation.

Kreacher waited until Snape left before appearing.

Aphrodite handed the fang and locket into its hands, and Kreacher held the two items with a sob.

It raised its fangs high and stabbed the locket with all its might.

The box screamed, and thick black smoke came out, emitting a pungent stench.

The fangs pierced the locket, and Kreacher burst into tears.

"Kreacher did it, Kreacher did it..."

Afro squatted down and threw the destroyed Horcrux and the fangs back into the system space, and handed the fake pendant box to Kreacher.

"Kreacher, keep this as a souvenir."

"Thank you Miss Aphrodite."
